Hettinger Public School is involved in a process of continuous improvement. Our accrediting organization AdvancEd visited Hettinger Public School April of 2013. Hettinger received full accreditation. The District is committed to maintaining its accredited status and has identified three academic goals to improve on; reading, writing and mathematics. The District will examine data to determine if growth is taking place.
New programs including our Junior High and High school advising program, the writing program, and student mentoring program have all been established to help our students grow in all academic areas and specifically those targeted by our goals. Education Improvement is necessary for our District to live the Vision of: Challenging all to meet their academic and life goals.
