Trigonometry
Welcome to Trigonometry, or Trig, as I like to call it. Trigonometry is a little like Geometry in the way that, as a math, it stands by itself. However, we will be using many Algebra concepts, so a strong base in math skills will be very helpful. Throughout the semester we will learn about trigonometric functions, their identities, their equations, conic sections, parametric equations, vectors, polar coordinates, and complex numbers.
Algebra I
Welcome to Algebra I! In this class we will review and build on the concepts you learned in 8th grade math. We will focus on the expressions, equations, linear functions and their graphs, inequalities, exponents, exponential functions, and quadratic functions and their graphs. Algebra I is the foundation of all high school math, science, and real-life math. I look forward to having you in my class!
Pre-Algebra
Welcome to Pre-Algebra! In this class we will review and build on the concepts you learned in 7th grade math. We will focus on the number system, particularly integers, expressions, equations, functions, and some geometry. Pre-Algebra is the foundation of all high school math, science, and real-life math. I look forward to having you in my class!
College Algebra
Welcome to College Algebra! This is a dual credit course through Bismark State College. We will build and expand on the concepts you learned from Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. This class will push you, but it will be rewarding. I look forward to guiding you through one of your first college level classes.
Algebra II
Welcome to Algebra II! In this class we will review and build on the concepts you learned in Algebra I. We will focus on equations and inequalities, in particular systems of equations and inequalities, functions and relations, polynomials, radical functions, and exponential and logarithmic functions. Algebra II is the introduction to upper-level math. I look forward to having you in my class!
