August
Aug 20th & 21st - First days of Preschool. Children will learn rules, routines, and do some fun projects.
Aug 25th - First day of Little Learner classes.
Aug 25th- 28th - Preschoolers will start an apple unit with coloring, counting, comparing, and tasting apples. It will also be the start of letter A.
September
Sept 1st - No School for Labor Day!
Sept 2nd - 4th - Preschoolers will finish letter A apple unit. Little Learners will also create apples.
Sept 5th - Tuition is due! $80 for Preschool and $40 for Little Learners who come once a week.
Sept 8th - 12th - Preschoolers will have letter B week with baseballs, bumblebees, and beaded bracelets. Little Learners will have Teddybear week where bears can come to school to play and dance with us.
Sept 15th - 19th - Preschoolers will work on letter C while learning about a cool cat name Pete. Little Learners will create and here stories about Pete the Kitty.
Sept 22nd - 25th - Preschoolers and Little Learners will learn about dinosaurs.
Sept 26th - No school
Sept 29th-Oct 3 - HOMECOMING WEEK (dress up days coming) Preschoolers will learn about letter E and elephants while showing school spirit. Little Learners will start a two week farm unit.
October
Oct 5th - Tuition is due! $80 for Preschool and $40 for Little Learners who come once a week.
Oct 6th-10th - Letter F will have Preschoolers creating and counting fish. Little Learners will finish their farm unit.
Oct 13th-15th-Review week. Preschoolers will review letters A-F and numbers 1-6. 1st quarter progress reports will be going home. Little Learners will start a 3 week Halloween unit.
Oct 20th-24th - Letter G week will have Preschoolers making Grapes and ghosts. Little Learners will continue with their Halloween fun.
Oct 27th-31st- Preschoolers will learn about letter H while taking time to celebrate Halloween.
Little Learners got ready for the Christmas season by decorating trees.
Little Learners had fun making Santa.
Preschool made kings and keys for letter K week.
Letter L week was all about lions for Preschool.
Little Learners talked about the winter weather and what to wear outside.
Preschool made mice and mixed paint for letter M week.
Little Learners learned about Groundhog’s Day and made predictions.
Preschoolers examined nests and made noodle necklaces for letter N week.
Preschool learned about letter O and the octopus.
Little Learners started a two week Valentine unit.
Last day projects included “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” themed items. Preschoolers also concluded their year with Alphabet Bingo.
