August 21st JH Football Jamboree Info

Welcome back to a new year. Here is our itinerary for Friday’s “Shake off the Rust” jamboree for our Junior High football teams. Please share this with all your coaches as well.   

Itinerary

• 4:00 Hettinger-Scranton v. Beach (south field) 

• 4:00 Hettinger County v. Richardton Taylor (north field) 

• 4:55 Hettinger-Scranton v. Hettinger County (south field) 

• 4:505Beach v. Richardton-Taylor (north field) 

Rules

• Each team will start at the 35 yard line 

• Each team will get 10 offensive plays and then switch to defense 

• If a team scores you will go back to the 35 and run plays again until you get to 10 offensive plays 

• Coaches: IF you want to work on goal line etc., just communicate with each other and run some goal line plays 

• The clock will run for 45 minutes. Once the clock hits zero there will be a small break so coaches can talk to their boys and have a rest and water break. 

• Coaches will be allowed on the field. They will be behind their teams and can offer coaching during their games 

• We will not keep score. This is for our coaches and kids to get some reps against other teams which we may not get at a regular practice. CONSIDER THIS A JOINT PRACTICE! 

• Richardton-Taylor and Beach will be on the East sideline 

• Hettinger County and Hettinger-Scranton will be on the West sideline 

• Buses: you can park your buses inside the field through our south gate 

• THERE WILL BE NO FAN PARKING WITHIN THE FIELD ITSELF! All fans will have to park on the street or in our north parking lot.
