FAFSA, Scholarships, ACT, & More with Jess Berwick

Hettinger Public School welcomes Jess Berwick as its new part-time career adviser for students in grades 7–12. She helps students track graduation requirements, explore career options, and find information about dual-credit courses, scholarships, and college opportunities.

Students and families can attend a Bank of North Dakota financial aid webinar on November 4 covering FAFSA, financial aid options, and federal student loan changes. Upcoming opportunities also include college visits from Bismarck State College on November 18 and a tentative University of Jamestown visit on November 24. Juniors will take the ASVAB on December 2.

Berwick encourages students and families to start planning early and stay informed about important deadlines. Students can contact her for help exploring colleges, careers, and scholarships. Families should check their email, and students should regularly check Microsoft Teams for updates. HPS students will also support the community by volunteering at the Turkey Luncheon on November 5.
