HPS Greenhouse Project Takes Root!

Science classes at Hettinger Public School are getting their new botanical project underway, and the greenhouse is already filled with sprouting fruits and vegetables. Students will learn hands-on agricultural skills as they grow fresh produce for the school lunchroom. 

The project will continue throughout the winter, with students caring for the plants and monitoring their growth. The greenhouse project is expected to wrap up in May, giving students the opportunity to experience the process of growing food from start to finish.
